Carnarvon is a vibrant multicultural hub, the ‘food bowl’ of WA and the place most enjoyed for its natural attractions and unique experiences.

Called the 'TropiCOOL’ Festival because it boast some of the best winter weather in the world – the four day event consists of the ‘Pop – Up Dining Experience with Fervor in ‘Mystery Location’ – where you will immerse yourself in fine food, Multicultural Eventide on the Fascine – where good food, culture and community come together. We can’t forget the TropiCOOL Twilight Concert and massive TropICOOL Family Fun Day. All featuring a rich program of the best music acts, markets, great food and awesome entertainment. Locals and Visitors alike – this 4 day event extravaganza allures people of all ages, background and abilities, come and feast with us and celebrate everything Carnarvon has to offer.


Pop Up Dining

Pop Up Dining experience with Fervor in a ‘mystery location’ Fervor is pop up dining restaurant; your experience will be focused on fresh ingredients and locally sourced produce, presenting it in a unique location to create an unforgettable degustation dining experience. Your eight-course menu is crafted with passion and prepared before your eyes. Fervor will bring out the taste and excitement of the region with each dish served.

Cost: $120 ticket (TBC) available from the Carnarvon Visitor Centre. Includes 8 course dinner and bus from Civic Centre to the mystery location




Multicultural Eventide on the Fascine

The Multicultural Eventide on the Fascine is where good food, culture and community come together on Carnarvon’s magnificent waterfront. The event is set on the beach with live entertainment by James Abberley, followed by a cultural dancing under the stars with the background music of contemporary didgeridoo player. Food is plentiful, with an opportunity to immerse yourself in the wide range of food options, with a cultural touch using Carnarvon’s fresh local seafood and produce – it’s simply a ‘taste of the world’.

Gascoyne Growers Markets and Courtyard Craft Markets

Gascoyne Growers Markets & Courtyard Craft Markets will be your opportunity to browse the local fruit and vegetables stalls and have a bite to eat with the delicious food options, as well as collecting a locally crafted souvenir!

TropiCOOL Twilight Concert

TropiCOOL Twilight Concert is when you put your dancing shoes on – great line up of music including headline act from Melbourne band Bloom, singing the latest and greatest hits to old time favourites. Bring a rug, camping chair and embrace the great tasting food to enjoy an evening of free entertainment.

TropiCOOL Family Fun Day

TropiCOOL Family Fun Day says it all – a jam packed day of great main stage entertainment for families, market stalls, food stalls, cooking demonstrations, kids entertainment and games through the TropiCOOL Trail and Kids Corners – all free!
